The Science Explained

Looking for real science, but you would you rather watch a video?

Well, here are some of my favorite scientists and teachers on YouTube.  You can sit back and watch while these scientists clearly explain the science.

Since 2010, Dr Been, MD has been giving free medical lectures to prepare foreign medical doctors for United States Medical Licensing Examinations.  He now produces informative and entertaining videos to explain complex scientific concepts in layman’s terms.  Here is an interview with Dr. Marik, one of the most knowledgable emergency medicine doctors in the world.  He talks about melatonin as well as Vitamin D as protection against Covid infections.

Ivor Cummins is a biochemical engineer who brings his problem solving rigor and the scientific method to some of the more interesting issues in the world today.  As a teacher, he is the most challenging to follow, but with patience, you are sure to learn something new.

Dr John Campbell has a PhD focused on the development of open learning resources for nurses nationally and internationally.  He is also author of Campbell’s Physiology Notes and Campbell’s Pathophysiology Notes for Nursing Students.  He gives daily updates on the current scientific literature as well as interviews of frontline doctors and nurses from around the world.  Here is one of his Vitamin D videos explaining a few of the most recent studies.
